Providing hope & holding space for you.

ABOUT
Support After Pregnancy or Baby Loss

If you’ve experienced loss during pregnancy, birth, conception, or within the first year of your parenting journey, please know you are not alone.

We are truly sorry for your loss. If you’ve found your way here, you may be navigating grief, and we want to gently reassure you there is support, and there is a community that understands.

HeartTalks, based in Bath & North East Somerset, offers peer support for anyone affected by pregnancy loss, baby loss, or termination for medical reasons (TFMR).

Whether your loss is recent or happened long ago, we’re here to provide a compassionate space where you can share, listen, and connect with others who have experienced similar pain.

"Hope grows where stories are shared and no one feels alone."

"We see you, and we are so sorry."

" In the quiet ache of loss, hope is found in shared stories, gentle presence, and knowing we are not alone."

Chantelle Walmsley

Founder/Director/ Peer Support/ Group Facilitator

As the founder of HeartTalks CIC, my mission was to create a compassionate community for those affected by baby loss. After experiencing multiple losses, including a traumatic one in 2021, I truly understand the pain and isolation that follow. Guided by my own journey, I created HeartTalks, a space offering peer support and education to raise awareness and foster connection. Though it's a group no one wishes to join, I’m grateful for the love and support it brings. You don’t have to face this alone. We’re here for you."

Alison Murley

Finance Director

"During my brief tenure so far as we have only been established since 2023 I have witnessed its incredible growth and we are currently at a crucial juncture where the establishment of our community hub will provide invaluable support to the broader community. I wholeheartedly support HeartTalks’ mission and the organisations efforts to assist parents and families, as well as to raise awareness within the community. With a background in hospitality and finance I manage aspects of the company’s financial health, accounts and long-term growth. It is truly fulfilling to back a cause that is so dear to me and assist the organisation in making a significant impact in the local community. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting our Founder Chantelle, you will be deeply moved by Chantelle’s ability to truly connect with people on an emotional level. The moment she approached me, I felt an immediate desire to lend my support to the cause with the ability to make a positive impact"

Michelle Weeks

Volunteer/ Peer Support/ Group Facilitator for Pregnancy after Loss

“I am a birth and postnatal doula supporting families at one of the most precious times in their lives. In this work I have and continue to support families who are pregnant after loosing a baby, and work to support and nurture their journey with authenticity, heart and warmth. Bringing a baby Earth-side after loss can sometimes look and feel a little different to what you would expect and I am here to support families on their unique grief informed journeys, giving you space to allow grief and heartache to live alongside joy and happiness. Everyone deserves person centred support especially when their journey is touched with heart break. I have experienced my own pregnancy loss and I am also a Mother to twins conceived through IUI assistance. When not supporting families I enjoy doing something creative, kitchen dancing, and being in warm the sunshine (when it appears). I am pleased and privileged to share my experience, knowledge and support as part of the HeartTalks team. If you have experienced loss in your pregnancy, birth, conception or parenting journey, I see you and I am so very sorry"

Chloe Gill

Volunteer/ Events + Fundraising Coordinator | Peer Support

"After attending a HeartTalks CIC event in 2024, I felt inspired to volunteer and give back to a cause close to my heart. Since starting fertility treatment in 2018, I’ve been passionate about supporting others on similar journeys. HeartTalks’ compassionate, ongoing support deeply resonated with me, offering space for people to feel seen and heard. With a background in organising fundraising events from Ladies Nights to Gala Balls and working professionally as an events coordinator, I’m excited to contribute both personally and professionally to this meaningful organisation."

Gill Tapper

Admin & Fundraising Support

" Before attending the wonderful Bridgerton Ball in 2024, I hadn’t realised the vital support HeartTalks CIC offers to those affected by pregnancy loss. Having experienced this within my own family, I know how important it is to feel understood and not alone. I’m thrilled to join the HeartTalks team, bringing my passion and energy to help raise much-needed funds so no one has to face grief without support and a listening heart."

I am so glad I found HeartTalks at this time. Chantelle was welcoming & the space was comfy & relaxed. The group was small and not at all overwhelming. I felt supported, held & validated in my feelings and thoughts. Thank You.

Lovely, warm and welcoming venue and facilitator. It was lovely to connect with other women and share our experiences. I really enjoyed the guided meditation element. Such a supportive environment to share our true thoughts and feelings and to feel truly seen and heard.

You are providing great support to people. I felt relaxed & at peace in the support circle. I would recommend your services to others in need of support.

I have worked closely with Chantelle for over three years. I'm always truly amazed at her love, empathy, creative energy and tenacity that she exhibits through her work. It's an honour to mentor Chantelle, her energetic passion, desire to raise standards, attention to detail, and initiate new ways forwards delivers profound results. Chantelle's a wayshower, nothing deters her from her mission, providing nothing short of an exemplary standard, that revolutionises every soul she touches, and in part humanity.
